RAG-based document automation for a specialty insurer
Challenge
Underwriters and support staff searched manually across tens of thousands of policy documents, endorsements and forms. Routine queries took hours, answers varied between people, and nothing was traceable to a source document.
Approach
We indexed the document corpus with semantic chunking, built a retrieval layer with re-ranking, and wrapped it in an answer service that cites the exact clause behind every response. Access is scoped by role, and every query is logged for audit.
Architecture
Ingestion pipeline → chunking and embedding → vector store with metadata filters → hybrid retrieval and re-ranker → LLM answer service with guardrails → web application with citation viewer and feedback capture.

Founded on a recurring frustration
AUREVIA started with a pattern we kept seeing from inside enterprise delivery teams: strategy decks that never became systems, and prototypes that collapsed the moment real data, real users and real compliance requirements arrived.
We founded the firm in Navi Mumbai with a narrow premise: the people who advise on AI should also be the people who build and operate it. That single change removes the handoff where most enterprise AI programmes lose momentum.
